Job Description

The Service Rep - Parking Lot Attendant [PLA] provides customer service through packaging and carrying out purchases for customers and support in all aspects of customer service. Works well under immediate supervision and some detailed verbal and written instructions. Basic skills in procedures, techniques, materials, and/or equipment appropriate to area.

Responsibilities:
- Packages customer purchases in the correct and efficient manner
- Assists customers in carrying out their purchases
- Assists customers with product questions
- Engages the customer in appropriate discussion regarding items they are purchasing, including discussion about: taste profile, complimentary items/side dishes, suggested preparation techniques, etc.
- May be required to return merchandise to shelves
- Provides fast, efficient, friendly service with a smile
- Ability to provide direction to CSAs in the parking lot
- Keep Baskets off of lot by nesting them in corals and then bringing them to the front
- Ensure there are ample baskets at all entrances for Customers to shop
- Assist Customers in unloading merchandise to their vehicle and carry outs
- Ensure Sani-Wipes are available for Customers to use
- Communicate issues in the parking lot to Service Manager, and Director
- Ensure Kids Carts, Electric Carts, Infant seats are clean and sanitary
- Ensure Electric Carts are charged and in working conditions
- Responsible for providing water
- Walks parking lot, searching for abandoned shopping carts
- Involve others when necessary to address Customer's needs

Requirements:
- Typically requires 0-2 years experience
- No prior experience or training required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Speak clearly and concisely
- Willingly adapt to shifting or competing priorities
- Stay focused despite interruptions.
- Remain calm and reasonable intense or stressful situations
- Follow accepted guidelines, rules, and procedures in actions
- Good Customer Service skills
- Complete all necessary training courses/ models
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical requirements: Lift and carry moderately heavy loads; bend, kneel, reach, squat, push and pull
- Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency standards- Standing (for max of 3 hrs)
