As a Maintenance Specialist, you'll maintain cleanliness and safety for an entire Store, inside and out, all while making our customers feel welcome. You'll also assist in training new Partners.

What is the work?
Sanitation / Maintenance:
- Assists in training new Maintenance Partners
- Assists CCM or ASM in supervising 3-5 Maintenance Representatives
- Writes daily job lists for Maintenance Partners
- Provides superlative customer service
- Maintains Store cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency and prioritization
- Uses H-E-B chemical program; correctly organizes / maintains stock in maintenance room
- Empties / cleans trash receptacles throughout the shift
- Ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation standards / SOPs
- Communicates maintenance needs, problems, or solutions to Store Leaders
- Performs minor maintenance repairs
- Maintains ceiling air vents; replaces light bulbs
- Performs Maintenance Representative duties frequently; performs other duties as needed

What is your background?
- Minimum age 18 (mandatory)
- Experience in maintenance (preferred)
- Experience supervising (preferred)
- Completion of Company Orientation, Basics of Safety training, and In-store orientation

Do you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Maintenance Specialist?
- Knowledge of department product, food preparation, and equipment required
- Knowledge of OSHA guidelines
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to take initiative and do what needs to be done
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks

- Demonstrate the ability to lift 50 lbs, and manage in excess of 50 lbs

** It is Partners' responsibility to never lift beyond their own safe lifting limit. If an item is too heavy to lift, push or pull, and / or carry, the Partner must break the box down into lighter, smaller, more manageable components, or ask for assistance from another Partner or a manager.
